Brennan Leo Emerson passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the age of 38. Brennan
came into this world on January 21, 1985. Brennan was a beautiful soul. He was gentle. He was sweet.
He was a true dreamer. He was creative, tender-hearted, genuine, passionate, endearing, magnetic,
athletic, charming, fun, funny, fun-loving, fun to be around, and a beloved son, brother, and friend. His
love of UK basketball, Jeopardy, gangster rap, and movie quotes is only exceeded by his love for his
family, friends, and bulldog, Griff.
Brennan is survived by his parents, Anthony Emerson and Marilee Cooney; siblings, Emily (David) Blunt
and Kevin Emerson; grandfather, Leo Meyers; niece, Maureen E. Blunt; aunt, Kathleen (cousins Drew
and Jamie) Board; uncles, Bob (Kathy) Emerson, Tom (Shirley) Emerson, Rick (Pam) Emerson, Larry
Emerson and Tim (Terry) Murphy.
Visitation will be Friday, January 12th from 4:00pm until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00pm with
reception to follow at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2409 Dixie Hwy. Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Interment of
Ashes will be held Tuesday, January 16th at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Online condolences
may be sent through our website.
