Brent Thomas Cooper, affectionately known as "Coop," was born on September 4, 1970, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and passed away peacefully at his residence on January 26, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and craftsmanship that touched the lives of many.

Coop was a proud entrepreneur who owned and operated Hard Core Handyman, where he took immense pride in his ability to fix, build, or improve anything that needed attention. His remarkable skills were matched only by his passion for music; he found joy in singing along to his favorite songs, creating a soundtrack for the memories he made with family and friends. Brent had a unique talent for collecting a variety of items, believing that everything had its own story and purpose, no matter how seemingly insignificant.

Above all, Brent was a devoted family man. He cherished the life he built and held deep pride in the family he loved dearly. In his heart, he carried the memory of those who had passed on, including his parents Clara Mae Still and Tommy Cooper, grandparents Stanford and Dorothy Still, as well as Carl Cooper and Lucille Garrett. Sisters, Cathy Merritt and Chelly Hunt. He also remembered his daughter Megan Ann Nicole Cooper, along with cherished aunts and uncles, Patricia Still, Mike Still, and David Still.

Brent is survived by his significant other, Terri Meredith, and his siblings: brothers Brian Cooper and Clay Cooper. His legacy continues through his beloved children, Jess Hughes (Cooper), Lucas Hughes, Brent Cooper Jr., Leslie Cooper, and Courtney Cooper. Additionally, he is survived by his cherished grandchildren, Jackson Thomas Cooper, Jude Likins-Cooper, and Lyra Mae Hughes.

A visitation to honor Brent's life will take place on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, at Cone Funeral Home, located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104. The funeral service will follow on February 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with burial at Fairview Cemetery at 3:00 PM.

Brent Thomas Cooper will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of his family and in the stories shared by his friends.
