From the day I moment Brent and I met, I knew he was meant to come into my life for a reason. We got stuck in a snow storm and began sharing our entire life stories, we laughed for hours - so hard that I my cheeks and stomach hurt for days and again the following visit. After we parted, I called my best friend and said " I just met the man I am going to marry!" and shortly after, we were. Brent´s warm smile and genuine kindness spoke to my heart we fell in love almost immediately. We ended up sharing years happy memories together. He was a devoted, doting, compassionate, and loving husband who went above and beyond to make me happy. I will always be grateful for the times we had together and although it didn´t last forever, I am thankful for the all of the moments he was in my life and the non-judgement, kindness, and happiness he brought to my life. Rest in peace dear Brent, you were gone too soon, and I´m so sorry to have heard the news of your passing. I know that you´ll been watching ESPN from heaven! My mother and I share our condolences to the family.

His smile and just how loving he was always just smiling and his laugh. All the time he spent with us at our home watching MMA fights or boxing and playing basketball with my husband Julio...He will be missed may he rest in peace always...

I will always remember Brent´s love for other people, his accepting, loving, and kind nature, and his thoughtfulness. Brent spoke life into people. He was someone who was not afraid to show his faith and was always happy to listen. He didn´t judge, and he would have done anything for his friends. I am going to miss getting the "hey, girl!" texts from Brent, where we would catch up on life and laugh. I also wanted to express how much he loved his parents and would always tell anyone who would listen how great they were. I once asked Brent if they would adopt me and he was like "absolutely! They can be our mom and dad!".
I love you, Brent. I miss you.
