Brete A. ECK, 66, of Friendship, NY, formerly of Scio, died Friday, January 31, 2025 in Houghton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
Born March 24, 1958, in Olean, he was the son of Gordon and Jean Keesler Eck. A graduate of Richburg High School, he was employed as a drywaller by Dan’s Contracting for many years.
Surviving are: three children, Brete A. Eck, Jr. of Belmont, Samantha Eck of Belmont, and Beau Eck of Friendship; seven grandchildren; a great-grandson; three siblings, Rebecca (George) Webster of Scio, David (Debbie) Eck of Friendship, and Daniel Eck of Scio; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Juanita Eck; a brother, Michael Eck; and a nephew, Cory Eck.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
