You were one of a kind. I´ll always remember your deep love for Vermont-the mountains, the quiet, the peace you found there-the way it felt like home to you. And of course, your passion for Phish-the endless adventures, the shows, the music that brought you joy and connection. Even though life took us in different directions, I´ll always carry those memories with me. I hope wherever you are now, the mountains are green and the music never stops. Rest easy. I´ll think of you when I kneel down and kiss the earth.

I played in a couple of music groups with Brett during and just after high school. He was a very talented guitarist and one of my favorite people that I have ever made music with. We lost touch, but I had always hoped to reconnect with him and have another jam. Keep making music up in heaven, bud. I will bring my bass with me when I get there.
