I've known Brett since we were about 5 to 6 years old. I have been living out of state for years so I lost contact with him and his family. We grew up together along with his brother, Drew. They were my best friends. Our families were very close and did lots together. We played soccer together and he taught me how to play football. I was the only girl in our neighborhood so he taught me to be tough and I had to learn very quickly. Lol. My fondest memory was when we had snow storms, we would all go tabogging in his grandfather's nursery at night for hours. His dad would pull the sleds behind his truck and whip us around. He was at great person and he will missed. Prayers to his entire family

We've always loved Brett. He was a gentle soul, willing to give you the shirt off his back. My fondest remembrance of him was when he and Drew came to our home to help us spread 3 tons of rock around our pool. We were all laughing and to them it was such easy work. They did it with such love in their hearts. Always fond memories of the hildick family during the holidays and the beautiful trees Brett would load onto our truck. RIP Brett. You were taken too soon. Love and hugs to Lettie, Drew, Jayson, Aunt Gerry and the rest of the family
