Brett Lee was born on September 16, 1961, in Shenyang, China. He was raised by his strong and devoted mother after losing his father at just 18 months old. From a young age, Brett demonstrated responsibility and compassion. At only eight years old, he began cooking to help support his hardworking mother and lovingly cared for his younger brother, who was born after their father’s passing.

Brett attended college in Shenyang, where he majored in electrical engineering. During this time, he developed a passion for soccer and enjoyed staying active. After graduating, he began working at an aviation research institute, where he met his wife, Macie. In 1993, Brett moved to the United States to join her.

He spent many years working as an electrical engineer in the semiconductor industry until 2016. Brett was known for his intelligence, strong work ethic, and incredible ability to fix just about anything around the house. His hands-on nature and problem-solving skills were admired by everyone who knew him.

Brett loved sports, especially basketball. For over 20 years, he played regularly with friends at Russell Creek Park, building lasting friendships through the game. He also enjoyed watching sports and cheering on his favorite teams.

Above all, Brett deeply loved his family and devoted himself to caring for them. His kindness, dedication, and quiet strength will be remembered always.

Brett is survived by his loving wife, Macie Lee; his younger brother, Chengwei Lee; his son, Jeffrey Lee; his daughter, Tiffany Lee; and his beloved granddaughter, Peyton Lee.

There will be a funeral service to honor Brett’s life at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Allen Family Funeral Options. The family will receive friends for a visitation 1 hour prior to service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. If you wish to join the service via webcast, please visit: https://webcast.funeralvue.com/events/viewer/119114
