Brett Thomas McDonough

Brett Thomas McDonough December 25,1969 - February 28, 2020 Brett McDonough died on February 28, 2020 in Tacoma Washington. He passed away at the home of a friend and his care giver Scott Gourley. Brett was a Christmas baby and was born at the US Naval Station in Yokosuka, Japan. He fought stage 4 liver, colon and rectal cancer for two and a half years. He never complained about the amount of treatments or the pain until the very end, when it became unbearable. Brett loved music, played in a band with friends and was a very loyal family person and friend. He was a very gentle person, always speaking in low tones and rarely raising his voice. His friends are numerous. He is survived by his mother Elizabeth Osborn, his sister Beverly Hartfield, his brother Don McDonough, his daughter MacKenzie Lunsford, 1 nephew – Joshua McDonough, 5 nieces, - Randi and Kassandra McDonough, Cory, Shannon and Larissa Ladner, - 7 great nieces and 3 great nephews, two step brothers, Scott and John Osborn, and his step father ,George Osborn. There will be so services. On April 11, 2020 there will be a celebration of his life.
