Brian Wayne Attaway

Mr. Brian Wayne Attaway, age 65, of 106 Caroleigh Dr., Union, widower of Alyce Roberts Attaway, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Attaway was born in Riverside, CA, July 27, 1957, a son of June Caldwell Attaway of Columbia and the late Wallace Attaway. He was graduate of Union High School and attended Columbia College. Mr. Attaway was a veteran of the US Navy having achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was formerly employed with Siemens-Westinghouse.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Jennifer Attaway of the home; a grandson, D.J. Decaprio of Pennsylvania; a brother, Wally Attaway of Spartanburg; a niece Krissy Martin; a nephew, James Mangum; and a great-nephew, Nathan Martin all of Union. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Attaway Roark.
No services are scheduled at the time.
