Brian David Bates

I am still in shock at Brian´s sudden passing. I knew him first when he lived in California and was a program manager at Xerox. Years later, we worked together on sales deals for DocuShare when he was a sales engineer. He was a great friend who loved the outdoors. I fondly remember Brian would somehow get his hikes and workouts into his schedule even while traveling on business for trade shows or client meetings. We talked football and I joked with him on his resemblance to former Raiders coach. My condolences to family and friends. Brian will surely be missed.

My heart breaks to hear of Brian's passing. I grieve with family and friends and all who knew him. He touched so many with his amazing positivity. His ready smile and his good nature made everyone around him a better person. I know God must have had a special need for Brian at his side to have taken him so soon and I will think of him often. My memories of Brian were built over the years of getting to know him at Xerox. I always looked forward to his visits to Palo Alto and enjoyed our calls discussing family and friends, his fondness for the out of doors - and a bit of business thrown in. Brian always had an amazing ability to handle the toughest customer challenges and he always ended up with a new friend as a client. I count myself as lucky to have had the opportunity to know him and send my sincerest condolences to his family and friends. He is missed and yet his memory will live on with me forever and his memory will always bring a smile to my heart. Dave Smith
