Brian L. Bruzda

Brian L. Bruzda, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished brother, passed away on March 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy rooted in faith, family, and quiet strength.

Born on August 31, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio, Brian built a life defined by meticulous dedication-to his work, his passions, and most importantly, to the people he loved.

Brian was the beloved husband of Karen (née Kudla), with whom he shared a deep and enduring partnership for the last 34 years. Together, they built a life centered on love and family. He was a proud and devoted father to Braelyn and Madelyn, who were the light of his life. Brian took great pride in being present for his daughters, guiding them and encouraging them with a steady hand.

He is also survived by his mother, Linda (née Matea), and his brother, Keith (Amy). Brian was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, and his brother, Kevin.

A highly accomplished professional, Brian worked as a Chartered Financial Analyst, approaching his career with the same meticulous care and integrity that defined every aspect of his life. He was known for his attention to detail, his commitment to doing things the right way and turning every business opportunity into the chance to make a new lifelong friend.

Outside of work, Brian found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid golfer and a passionate NASCAR enthusiast. A lifelong fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers (when they were winning), he enjoyed cheering on his hometown team. Above all, he was a man of strong faith, whose beliefs guided him daily. His life was a testament to faith and family-values he carried with him in everything he did.

Brian will be remembered for his steady presence, his thoughtful nature, and the deep love he had for his family, friends and community. Guided by his faith and compassion for others, Brian gave the gift of sight through cornea donation, continuing to help others even after his passing. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family he cherished so deeply.

The family will welcome guests from 12:30 to 2:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio, with a funeral service at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Valley City. At the request of his daughters, guests are kindly encouraged to dress casually and to wear Brian's favorite colors-blue, grey, and orange-in his honor; traditional black attire is not expected.
