Brian Phillip D'Aprix, 72, of Schuyler, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 15, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

He was a mechanic by trade working at Utica Chrysler Plymouth, Del Monte-Bremiller, Inc. and Utica Transit Authority. He also enjoyed helping friends, family and neighbors with small engine repairs from his home. In later years, Brian enjoyed driving school bus for Birnie Bus Service, Inc.

In his free time, Brian enjoyed the outdoors, loved riding his motorcycle and ATV with many friends and family visiting each Stewart's Shop along the way. He also enjoyed taking long car rides through the countryside with no real destination in mind. He especially enjoyed spending time with his lifelong friends the Porter's who he considered brothers. Brian was always up for an adventure, and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

After the death of his wife Carol, he was lucky enough to find love a second time with his fiancée Jean Magliocca who survives him. He was predeceased by his brother Charles D'Aprix (Gretchen), his sister Kathleen D'Aprix and his aunt Margaret Gilloren Davis.

The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the Staff of St. Elizabeth Medical Center ICU and the staff of Kunkel Ambulance for their care and compassion for Brian.
