Brian K. Doolittle, age 69 of Neenah, passed away early Wednesday, June 18, 2025. He was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Wayne and Virginia Doolittle on May 31, 1956 and moved to Wisconsin in 1981. Brian's faith and family were the cornerstones of his life. As a young boy and adolescent, he enjoyed camping and outdoor activities with his parents and brother; countless family gatherings with Aunts, Uncles and cousins; participating in Scouting activities; visiting family and friends of his Dad's in Wisconsin, and being an active member of a local Baptist church. After graduating from Indiana State University, Brian started his career in engineering at United Technologies in Logansport, IN and then at a local television station in Terre Haute. He completed his career at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, retiring in 2017 after 35 years. On November 21, 1981, Brian married his love and lifetime partner, LouAnn (nee Elliott) Doolittle. They were blessed with two sons who made their close-knit family complete. Brian lived his life with integrity, an enduring faith in God, strong patriotism, kindness, loyalty and a good sense of humor. He enjoyed family camping trips, overseeing pinewood derby projects and other scouting activities with his sons, numerous trips to the Boundary Waters, going fishing, family vacations across the United States and Mexico, and any time spent together with family or friends. Brian and LouAnn were looking forward to celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary this year and enjoying retired life together. He was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother and generous friend who will be dearly missed. Brian is survived by his wife, LouAnn; sons Joseph B. Doolittle, Colorado Springs, CO, and James E. Doolittle, Neenah, WI; brother, Gary (Kathy) Doolittle, Velpen IN; nieces Emily (Adam) Poole, Evansville, IN and Allison (Chris) Layton, Terre Haute, IN; and several great-nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Virginia, and infant brother, Steven. The funeral service for Brian will be held at Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Visitation with the family will be from 4-6 pm, with the service immediately following at 6 PM. Brian will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah.
