Brian Erdahl Obituary
Brian Jay Erdahl, age 62, of Palm Coast passed away on Tuesday June 7th 2022 surrounded by his family. Born in Blue Earth, Minnesota on June 23rd, 1959, he was the son of Sidney Erdahl and Alta (née Johnson). He is survived by his wife Karen (née Furland), with whom he shared a beautiful 40 year marriage. Brian was a devoted father to two children, Katrina and Benjamin; a loving brother to Randy (Karen), Kevin (Jean), Susan (Doug), Alan (Maggie), and Shari (Chris); and he was cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased in death by his father, Sidney, and his brother, Craig.
Brian had an illustrious career at Deloitte Consulting. He worked his way through the firm to become a Principal in 2003, where he continued to lead the way in creating new markets in state healthcare until his retirement in 2020.
Brian enjoyed traveling and was determined to see all seven continents. He succeeded in seeing five continents, that included numerous countries and cities across the globe. He also enjoyed fishing, taking walks with his beagle, Molly, and was looking forward to building his dream home in Palm Coast to share with his family.
Brian was also extremely generous and donated to several charities. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania Foundation https://give.unitedwayswpa.org/comm/ArticleArchive.jsp?ArticleType=UWInitiatives&SA=16567570&SC=InHonor-InMemory.
Family and friends are welcome to attend Brian's Celebration of Life on Friday June 24th, 2022 from 1-4pm at the Treesdale Country Club in Gibsonia, PA.
