Anthony Brian Franklin, 48, of Asheboro, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at his home.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
Brian was born on May 4, 1976, in McDowell County, WV. He was a kind and selfless person who would gladly give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed fishing, woodwork, car shows and wrestling. Though you wouldn't think he was the type by looking at him, he was a huge fan of Tupac and a Chicago Bulls fan, especially for Michael Jordan. Brian will always be remembered for his unique banter and fun outlook on life. He was a major Bills fan.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edith and Walt Stanley; paternal grandparents, Russell And Bertha Franklin.
Brian is survived by his wife of 20+ years, Shannon Franklin of the home; son, Jordan Taylor Franklin (Cassandra) Blue Field WV; parents, Curtis and Sandra Franklin of Kegley, WV; brother, Curtis Franklin (Darlenna) of Kegley, WV; many nieces and a nephew; and his fur babies, Allie an Gracie.
