Brian M. Halm

Brian M. Halm, 83, of Brick, formerly of Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away on June 14, 2022. Brian was an avid golfer (his second love after his wife), scuba-diver, and a voracious reader. He loved the water, snorkeling, sailing, and enjoyed just sitting at the beach.
Brian was proud of his business, daMAR design, which he established in his basement in 1966 and ran successfully for 50 years.
Brian was very active in his community of Lions Head South, where he was a member of the Men's Club, the finance committee, and was past president of the Lions Head Country Club, where he remained an active member. These activities filled Brian's wish to make life easier for his community.
Brian was always helping others and giving of his time. He taught many a new golfer how to be better. Giving of himself truly gave Brian joy and created everlasting bonds with friends. Throughout his life he continued to evolve and learn, and was always finding new interests to pursue.
Brian leaves behind a loving family, Mardell, his wife of 60 years, two sons, David and his wife Jolie of Burnt Hills, NY, and Darren and his wife Kelly of San Diego, California, a fun sister, Susan Gilbert and brother in law Ed, and 5 cherished grandchildren, Chris, Megan, William, Fletcher, and Rory. He leaves behind a multitude of cherished friends and family.
Visiting Friday, June 17, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, NJ. Family and Friends will be sharing thoughts beginning at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be Private
