Brian Hillock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Memorial Chapel - East Wenatchee on Nov. 24, 2025.
Brian Paul Hillock, age 30, of Peshastin, WA, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025.

Brian was a man of quiet strength, deep loyalty, and a heart that showed up for others long before he ever showed up for himself. He lived with an adventurous spirit-always building, fixing, creating, and searching for what was real. If there was a way to make something better, stronger, or more interesting, Brian would find it… usually with a truck, Jeep, or Subaru involved.

Brian was the truest definition of a helper. He was always willing to lend a hand-whether it was fixing someone's car, helping a neighbor, or plowing the neighborhood. Brian had a kind heart and a servant's attitude. You'd be hard pressed to find a person who didn't like Brian.

Brian was also a man of deep devotion. For 4 years, Stephanie was his partner, his constant, and the person he loved with his whole heart. Their bond was strong, loyal, and defining. Even in his hardest moments, Brian's love for her never wavered. His final message-"Tell her that I love her"-speaks more clearly than anything else to the sincerity and depth of his heart.

He was passionate in everything he did: in his loyalty, in his curiosity, in the way he pushed boundaries and explored the world, and in the fierce love he held for the people closest to him. Though Brian struggled with pain he often carried alone, his life was far bigger than his final moments. We entrust him to God's mercy-a mercy not limited by confusion, illness, or despair. We believe Brian now sees the fullness of God's love clearly, and we imagine him running headlong into that perfect adventure.

Brian is survived by his dog, Guss; his parents, Tony and Helen; his siblings Theresa, Tom, Bianca, Donna, Claire, Kelly and Maria; his longtime partner, Stephanie Pyle; his 10 nieces and nephews; and many extended family members and friends who loved him deeply.

Brian made this world better simply by being here, and the heart chasm he leaves is immeasurable. He will be remembered for his humor, his grit, his talents, his passion, and the way he was always up for 'just one more' project.

A private family viewing was held on Monday, November 24. A memorial service will be announced at a later date in January.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes your prayers and would love to hear your stories either in-person or posted on Heritage Memorial's site.
