Brian B. Hollinghurst passed away Saturday December 13, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville surrounded by his loving family. He was 64.
He was born and raised in Boonton Township. In 1995, Brian and Kathy established their home and raised their family in Lake Hiawatha.
Brian served his country proudly with the United States Army. After many years of working, Brian retired in the fall of 2021. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends. When he was not traveling the world or spending time with his family, Brian spent his days delivering flowers for Landmark Florist. He loved making everyone's day brighter and making friends wherever he went.
He was a dedicated member for the Boonton Township Fire Department and Boonton First Aid Squad. He was a proud life member of Parsippany Rockaway Neck First Aid Squad.
Brian is predeceased by his father John William (July 1978), his brother Scott (January 2024) and his sister-in-law Caroline (September 2022).
Survivors include his loving wife: Kathleen "Kathy" (nee-Martin); his daughters: Brittney A.(and her fiancé Zane Aschenbrenner) & Erin E; his mother: Carmen (Cook) Hollinghurst; and his sister: Debra Molnar; his brother-in-law: James Martin Jr. and his wife Christine; Sister-in-laws; Colleen Burnley and her husband Micheal, Eileen Brown and her husband Christopher, and Charleen Bednarz and her husband Craig. Along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Liturgy of Christian Burial 9:30 am Thursday December 18, 2025 at St. Christopher R.C.Church 1050 Littleton Road Parsippany. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00pm-8:00pm at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Road Parsippany (973) 887-3235. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Parsippany Rockaway First Aid Squad.
