Brian Earl Hudgins, age 43, departed this life on November 5, 2025, in Batesville, Mississippi. He was born on November 17, 1981, in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Brian dedicated much of his working life as a farm hand, and he also contributed his efforts at a fish farm. His strong work ethic was a reflection of the love he had for his family, which was paramount to him. Brian loved his family deeply and would do anything for them.
In his personal life, Brian found joy in the simple pleasures. He enjoyed riding around and listening to music, which brought him happiness and peace. Slow mornings were particularly special for him as he took the time to savor a cup of coffee.
The family Brian leaves behind includes his wife, Shasta Winters Hudgins of Batesville, MS; his daughter, Kayrin Hudgins of Batesville, MS; one sister, Beth Haire (Dewayne) of Grenada, MS; his mother, Karen Hudgins of Sumner, MS; father-in-law, Hershel Barnes of Enid, MS; his mother-in-law, Teresa Barnes of Batesville, MS; two nieces, Madison and Sarah Haire; one nephew, Travis Haire; and one great nephew, Rowdy.
