Brian Douglas Hutchins, age 51, passed away on October 21, 2024. Born on May 11, 1972, in Midland, Michigan, he was the beloved son of the late Norman Bruce Hutchins and Margaret Robbins. Cherished husband of Dawn Babjak Hutchins, and devoted father to Lottie Anne Madelyn, David Francis, and Ashlyn Nichole Hutchins. Loving brother to Debra French (Paul), John Wayne Hutchins (Barbra), Norman Bruce Hutchins (Cindy), and half-brother Brad Hutchins (Nicole). He is also survived by his parents-in-law David and Maureen Babjak; sisters-in-law Doreen Babjak and Sara Babjak, and brothers-in-law Bill Millins and Brian Varnado, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Brian had a heart full of love, especially for adults with disabilities whom he cared for like family. Known as a gentle giant, his humor, kindness, and artistic talents touched many. He was passionate about the Special Olympics, animals—especially his dogs Harley, London, and Hutch—and enjoyed working on cars, cooking for his kids, tattoos, and Michigan football. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
