Moultrie, GA – Brian E. Jacobowitz, 69, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service is planned for Wednesday, May 21st at New Covenant Church located at 776 Highway 319 North, Moultrie, GA at 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be scheduled in Brooklyn, NY at a later date.

Born December 17, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of the late Harry Jacobowitz and Harriette Klein Jacobowitz.

A talented journeyman carpenter with the New York City Council of Carpenters, he was also a member of New Covenant Church in Moultrie, and had authored a book titled, “Fountains of Faith”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Jacobowitz.

Survivors include his daughters, Crystal Alomar and her spouse, Jimmy, Nicole Jacobowitz and her spouse, Ady; grandson, James Alomar; granddaughter, Emma Alomar; brothers, Steven Jacobowitz and wife Renee, Mark Jacobowitz; uncle, Herbert Klein and wife Toshika; mother of his daughters, Ann Ross; sister-in-law, Ethel Lewis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
