Brian M. Jemison, 72, retired KDOT Materials and Structures Specialist, died June 4, 2025.
Brian is survived by his wife, Judy Jemison of Colwich, KS, and his brother Bill (Janet) Jemison of Pleasant Valley, MO. Brian had 4 stepchildren Shannon Brasser (Jerry) of Sedgwick, KS, Kevin Brasser of Colwich, KS, Craig (Karrina) Brasser of Andale, KS, and Aaron (Sherri) Brasser Colwich, KS. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He also leaves behind his nephew Paul (QiuXia) and niece Rachel (Mike) Scroggins.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents Barnett and Margaret Jemison and sister Mary Jemison.
Brian was born in Guam and had a deep love of the water. He enjoyed his sailboats and was an avid snorkeler before moving to Kansas. Brian was very devoted to his Catholic faith and always put God first in his life. Brian had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to joke with people, sometimes unbeknownst to them. Brian will be sorely missed by his family and all those who cared for him
The Rosary will be said at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025, followed by the funeral Mass and burial at 10:30 a.m., both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Colwich, KS.
, memorial donations may be made to the Guadalupe Clinic, 940 S. St. Francis, Wichita, KS 67211.
