Brian Edward Jenkins

Brian was a wonderful father to all his children. He loved with his whole heart and I was blessed to know him. Rest in Peace Paula O'Keefe

In 2007 my dad Fred (aka one of the Italians) and I took a road trip to see Brian in Lubbock,TX. It was a blast got to explore a windmill grave yard - so random but surprisingly fun - and of course hit up a Texas Tech game too. Lovely memories with a great guy! Our family will miss him dearly.

Brian was a great sports enthusiast with his favorite teams being the NY Jets, NY Mets, NY Giants, etc., and any team paying against the Cowboys. He would say , "I´m not a Yankee....I´m a damn Yankee!" But perhaps above all he was a RED RAIDER! He was passionate about cheering on Tech at every opportunity he had. He would ask friends and co-workers to accompany him to many Tech games over the years and on several occasions I was fortunate to go with him. He definitely was one of the greatest fans Tech has ever had. I can´t remember how conditions developed that on the day Kingsbury was named head coach of Tech football, we ended up gathering with a few hundred fellow Tech fans at Memorial Circle to celebrate. The atmosphere was just, electric.
Brian, or as I and his co-workers would call him, Bliam, for last 30 plus years, had one of the funniest sense of humor and was very witty. I am grateful for having been a friend of his. He had many, many friends but I am truly grateful for him being one of my few friends. Bliam, I miss you amigo!
