Meeting Brian for the first time in New Philly came very early in my life, you see it happened when we both were 2 years old. The Lewis family had moved into their new home which was next to ours and that became the beginning of our friendship.
For the next 16 years much time was spent together playing on the old vacant lot which joined both properties, almost daily discussing /playing whatever sporting event was in season, then rooting for Quakers, Indians and Browns while trading both baseball / football cards, learning players names along with team statistics etc. yes as they say" those were the good old days". During those years my two brothers (Bob and Garry) came into our lives and Brian always considered both to be a part of our team and to this day they can like myself remember Brian's friendship and the good time they had while playing ball or whatever activity we were into at the time. Yes those sixteen years definitely left an impact on each of our lives and to this day my mind still reminds me of those good times.
Graduating from NPHS moved us apart with Brian finding comfort living with his family on the East coast and me likewise however on the West coast.
Recently we lost one of my brothers but now I have great hopes that Brian and Bob will meet up and begin rebuilding that team we once had!
To Barb and your wonderful family please note that my many years of my friendship with Brian will always be a cherished memory and I do hope you find much comfort in knowing there are many people that loved Brian and who love each of you as well.

I had the pleasure of knowing Brian in the 1970's and 1980's when I worked at Airwick Industries and Boyle-Midway. He was a consummate professional and a true gentleman. Rest in peace, Brian.

Having an acquaintance for over 40 years. I can honestly say that the Lewis "Clan," with Brian and Barbara at the helm, has always been the epitome of the perfect family. True admiration and respect for the bonds that they shared. Brian's passing deeply saddens me. Although the wonderful times will always be cherished memories for the family and friends, now a void exists. May your faith, family, and friends surround you all with love, support, and kindness as you embark on the days ahead without Brian in your midst.
Most sincerely, Carol

Brian was a very good friend and colleague that I have had the pleasure of working with for over25years. He was a dedicated tough competitor who was highly respected by his customers and associates. He had a unique gift of engaging and connecting with everyone he met. He was an excellent salesman and Vice President of Sales. I am very proud to have worked with Brian. He was simply a Very Good Man! Respectfully, Erv

Brian and I were very good friends and fellow members of our high school football team.
We did not get to spend much time together after high school but Brian was the type of person that was once a friend, always a friend.
Lynne and I want the family to know that our prayers are with you.
