Brian E. Livelsberger Sr.

Brian E. Livelsberger, Sr., age 77, of New Oxford, passed away on August 19, 2024 at UPMC Hanover. He was the loving husband of Linda M. (Gross) Livelsberger; together they shared over 58 years of marriage.
Brian was born in Hanover, PA on July 23, 1947 and was the son of the late Bernard Livelsberger and Margaret (Smith) Livelsberger. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He worked for Black & Decker in Hampstead, MD and then as a manager for Clearview Car Wash in Hanover for over 54 years. Brian was an avid hunter and Penn State Football fan who always wore a warm smile and laughed with a hearty chuckle that filled a room. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford, a member of the American Legion in Hanover and the McSherrystown Fish and Game Club. Brian was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and he cherished spending time with his loving family.
In addition to his loving wife Linda, Brian is survived by his sons Brian Livelsberger, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Steelton, PA and Robert Livelsberger and wife Jennifer of Mechanicsburg, PA; his grandchildren Hannah, Peyton, Chloe, Spencer, and Tyler; and his great-grandson Lennox. He is also survived by his siblings Theresa Eline, Mary Mann, Donald Livelsberger, Kenneth Livelsberger, and Patrick Livelsberger; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brian was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Livelsberger.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, PA 17350 with Rev. Keith M Carroll as celebrant. Interment will be held privately. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, PA 17344 with military honors provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard at 7:00PM.
