Brian McClain, Sr., 53 entered into rest Saturday, November 22, 2025. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was always the life of the party. He loved telling jokes and stories to entertain those around him. Brian liked to watch the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed woodworking, crabbing, metal detecting and panning for gold but his favorite thing to do was every Saturday night sitting around the fire listening to Classic Country Jukebox with his family and friends.
Brian was proud of serving his country and making lasting friendships with his fellow heroes. As a history buff, he took part in Civil War Reenactments. He was a charter member of the Georgia Artillery Battalion and was elected as Major in 2024. He loved this special time, getting to spend time not only with his boys but also with all of his nieces and nephews that followed in his footsteps.
Brian was definitely one of a kind. He made a lasting impact on more people than he ever knew, and we will all miss him and his fun-loving spirit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary McClain; maternal grandparents, Tom and Totsy Boynton; paternal grandparents, Wiley and Ruth McClain; father-in-law, Tommy Skillman; special cousin, Randy Tapley; and special friend, Jason Quick.
He is survived by his wife, Lori McClain; two sons, Brian McClain, Jr. (Aliyah) and Britton McClain; a granddaughter, Winleigh McClain; his father, Wiley “WZ” McClain; a brother, George “Pete” Bradham (Angi); his mother and father-in-law, Joan and Martin Manchester; a sister-in-law, Debbie Skillman (Bruce); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, November 28 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, November 29 in the funeral home chapel with Bernard Martin officiating. Buial will follow at the family cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Callaway, Clay Boynton, Jason Boynton, Mark McClain, Garrett McDaniel, and Tripp Keen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the grandchildren’s education fund at First National Bank.
