A class act who preferred to wear short sleeve shirt & tie during our games no matter how hard the snow fell.

Terry Hodson I hate to think of what I would have become without the influence of Coach McGregor and the Arvada West Wildcats High Schoiol football program. I owe Coach McGregor so much--truly one of the greatest men I have ever known. RIP Coach God Bless! Class of 80

I am the teacher of athletes.
He who by me spreads his breast wider than my own proves the width of my own.
He most honors my style who learns under it....
to destroy the teacher.
Many thanks coach.

It did not mention that the AWHS football team won the state championship in 1972. That was huge. RIP, Coach McGregor.

I remember a tall man of style and grace on the sidelines . Wish I had talked to him personally then maybe I would have kept playing football ! I will never forget Coach McGregors passing as my Father passed the same day in 2004 . RIP COACH .

Hey Coach,
Your kindness towards me and your smile in high school helped me more than you'll ever know.

I am glad that we got to catch up (and that you got to meet my daughter) when you accepted my invitation to come to the Arvada West High School Class of 1989 reunion.

I remember you telling me how much you had missed your lovely wife and your son Keli. How them being gone broke your heart. I know that you are with them in heaven free of all pain. Keep watch over the rest of your family diwn here on earth, showing them signs that you are still there.

You surely will be missed!

Brian "Coach" was a huge supporter and friend of the Schiele family. My dad and Brian played and coached football together. Just as important, Brian was my guidance counselor at AWHS. He championed me as a student, and me eventually becoming a United States Marine.

The Schiele Family as a whole got to know Coach McGregor in a lot of different ways. He was friends with our father and mother, Carl and Carolyn Schiele, and all 3 of us kids Ty, Ryan, and Melanie attended Arvada West. Coach McGregor knew all of the Schiele“s academically and athletically. Our father appreciated his friendship.

Prayers for your family
