Brian Anthony McKenna

Brian Anthony McKenna passed away on February 5, 2026.

Brian was the son of John Patrick (deceased) and Mary Davita McKenna. He was born on July 20, 1965 in Albany NY. He was the beloved brother of John Patrick McKenna III (deceased), Kevin Michael McKenna (deceased), Sharon Seim Heup (Mark) of Sandy Springs, GA, Daniel John McKenna MD (Holly) of Fort Myers, FL and Matthew David McKenna (Britta) of Buffalo, NY. He was father to Meghan and Claire McKenna. He was uncle to six nieces and nephews.

Brian graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1988 and received a Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College. He was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. He had a long career in Finance and most recently worked as Business Manager at St. Philip Benizi church.

Brian's friends and family will remember him as fun-loving and kind man.

A Mass of Remembrance will be Thursday, February 19th at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 591 Flint River Rd, Jonesboro, GA 30238 at 10:30 a.m. (reception at 10:00 a.m.). Refreshments will follow in the church Founders Hall. A Mass of remembrance and internment in Albany will be scheduled for late Spring.
