Brian E. Mitchell, 56, of Manchester, NH passed away on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was previously of New Port Richie, FL and Wakefield, MA.

Mr. Mitchell was born on July 5, 1968, in Melrose, MA the son of pre-deceased Father, Russell and Mother, Virginia (Richards) Mitchell. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army, Transportation Division.

Mr. Mitchell was previously employed as a Commercial Truck Driver and worked for Alside Supply.

He enjoyed woodworking, rescuing and adopting animals, working in the yard, gardening, and building. He loved visiting with friends and family, decorating for holidays (especially Halloween), playing card games, darts, pool, horseshoes, swimming, barbequing, and just talking.

Members of his family include: his wife, Christine (Gorski) Mitchell of Manchester, NH; a daughter, Jessica Mitchell, two grandchildren; two brothers, Russell and his wife, Amanda Mitchell of Methuen, MA; and David Mitchell of Wakefield, MA; one sister, Karen and her husband, Mike Pierce of Wakefield, MA; godchild, Breanna Mitchell and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to12:00 Noon at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, in Manchester, NH. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon, in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers with Military Honors will be held at 1 pm, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, in Manchester, NH.

It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial contributions to Bedford Animal Rescue League, 545 State Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mr. Mitchell.
