*** In Loving Memory of Brian Jason Molenaar ***
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Molenaar, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2025, at the age of 52. Brian's journey in this world began in Minot, North Dakota, where he was born, and he embraced his upbringing in Grand Forks. A dedicated learner, he attended Manvele school through eighth grade, completed high school at Central, and graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School before continuing his education at North Idaho College.
Throughout his life, Brian pursued various endeavors, ultimately finding his calling in Concrete work, where he honed his skills with passion and precision. As the proud owner of All About Flatwork, he cultivated not just a business, but a reputation for quality craftsmanship that earned the respect of many in the community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Brian's spirit shone brightest in the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or golfing, he cherished every moment spent in nature. He had a passion for softball, playing for teams like Wolfpack and Ofers, and took joy in beating his wife, Alexis, at Scrabble. Most of all, Brian loved watching his son, Jax, on the soccer field, a testament to his enthusiasm and unwavering support for his family.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Alexis Molenaar (Emery), their daughter Julianne (Jake Gatson), and their son, Jax. He leaves behind his brothers, John (Damien), Edward (Shelby), and Andrew (Deb), along with his devoted parents, Dennis and Ann Molenaar, his extended family members, and many friends who were blessed to know him.
As we remember Brian, let us celebrate the life he lived, the love he shared, and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy will continue to inspire those who loved him, and he will always be cherished as a guiding light in our lives.
*** Due to the outpouring of love and support, and the many inquiries about how to help Lexi and Jax during this difficult time, a memorial account has been established at Mountain West Bank in honor of Brian.
