Brian Keith Moore

It is with a heavy heart we announce that Brian Keith Moore, age 42, passed away on July 29, 2024, following an 11-month second bout with leukemia.
Born in Plantation, FL, in February of 1982, Brian was the son and youngest child of Roger and Marsha Moore of Tallahassee, FL. Brian attended Park Springs Elementary, Forest Glen Middle, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High, graduating in 2000.
Brian grew up playing most local community sports, including baseball, flag football, and soccer, and he was also in the Cub Scouts and Indian Guides with his dad. Musically inclined, Brian played piano and trombone, and was in the high school band. He started playing golf at the age of eight, winning his first tournament that same year. He then made the high school golf team – his real life's love. After graduation, Brian attended Florida State University where he joined the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. In 2006, he graduated magna cum laude with a master's in mechanical engineering. After graduation, he worked for Cummings in Columbus, IN, for a few years before changing careers, becoming a Zimmer Orthopedic rep and eventually moving to Panama City Beach in 2011. Following Hurricane Michael, he then went into business for himself.
Brian will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. He is survived by his fiancé, Kendra Bruner; his sister, Kelly Bushway; his parents, Roger and Marsha Moore; and his two dogs, Koda and Kash.
A Celebration of Life for Brian will be held on August 24th at 5pm, at the Panama Country Club, we kindly request that you join us not in mourning, but in celebrating the beautiful life Brian lived.
