Brian Nielson

Brian Nielson 1956 - 2014 Brian was born to Wells Allen Nielson and Maurine Schofield in Provo, Utah on July 13, 1956. He graduated from Orem High School in 1974. He loved sports especially baseball and excelled in soccer and tennis. He worked in the coal mines and later became a Journeyman Electrician until he became disabled. He loved hunting and camping in the Mountains, fishing in Alaska. His greatest joy was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. His eyes would light up with joy when his grandchildren came to see him. He married Cindy Nelson in 1977 and had three children. He married Debra Lee Smith Winters in 2000 in Lehi, Utah. His children are Tia Lea Nielson, Tiffany Marie Nielson (Jeremy), Travis Brian Nielson, Jada Winters Grossgebauer (Todd), Trina Ann Winters Parkinson (Lance), Denae Winters Hansen (Mark), Bradley Steven Winters (Laura), Rebecca Elaine Winters Tingey (Craig), Melissa Marie Winters Kelley (Patrick). He has 33 grandchildren and one great grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. His siblings are Aline Nielsen, Gerry Allen Nielson, Steven S Nielson (Michelle), David S Nielson (Lori). Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 11, 2014, 11 am in the Sharon 2nd Ward Chapel, 645 South 400 East, Orem. Friends may visit with the family Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, or Saturday morning from 9:30-10:30 am at the church prior to the service.
