Brian Andrew Petersen

Brian Petersen was a friend of mine. I read his papers and had many great conversations with him. Both activities were deeply academic and rewarding to me. Brian was truly modern Renaissance man.

An extraordinary colleague who had such an enormous capacity to inspire students at all levels in the development of their potential. In addition to being a scholar in business, Brian shared his enormous vocal talent as a singer and soloist in a performance for Immaculata at the prestigious Perelman Theatre of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia in 2012. It has been such a pleasure to have known an individual as a colleague dedicated not only to academic excellence but equally grounded in his God given talent.

I had the privilege of teaching Brian while he was earning his BA at Immaculata, and then working with him as we both adjuncted at IU. He was an amazing person, and he is so missed. My heart breaks for you all, and I cannot express my sadness at his passing. I offer my deepest condolences.
