With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Brian Frederick Pippin, who departed this world on August 15, 2024, in Denver, Colorado, at the age of 44. Born on June 4, 1980, in Montclair, New Jersey, Brian's life was a beautiful tapestry of love, adventure, and bravery.

Brian served four years as an Indirect Fire Infantryman in the United States Army, where he made significant sacrifices and earned the Purple Heart while deployed with the 2nd Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. His commitment to serving his country speaks volumes about his courage and strength.

Brian found joy in the great outdoors. He loved nothing more than escaping into the woods, where he would indulge his passions for hunting, fishing, camping, and simply savoring moments away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The tranquil beauty of nature brought him peace, and he cherished each moment spent amongst the trees and streams.

Brian's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him deeply. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Brianne Thoen; his mother, Christie Pippin (Koch); father, Frederick Pippin; and sister, Andrea Pippin Muha. He also delighted in being an uncle to Staci Muha, Torben Olsen, and Emeric Olsen. The warmth of his friendship will be forever missed by his best friend and hunting companion, Molly, and by his extended family, including mother-in-law Trish Thoen (Aragon), father-in-law Dale Thoen, sister-in-law Stefanie Olsen (Thoen), and brother-in-law Kevin Olsen.

Brian’s gentle spirit, adventurous heart, and the love he shared with those around him will be remembered fondly. He touched the lives of so many, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and resilience. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever resonate in the memories cherished by all who knew him.
