Brian Michael Richards, 60, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 14, 2024, at his home. He was the loving husband of Pamela (Lyons) Richards, with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. He enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, boating on Newfound Lake and spending time with his family and friends.
Born in Phoenix, AZ, Brian was the beloved son of Robert Anthony Richards and Sheila (Sullivan) Richards.
He graduated from Chelmsford High, Class of 1982 and went on to establish a successful career as a pool contractor, proudly owning and operating his own company. Brian was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.
In addition to his devoted wife, Pamela, Brian is survived by his five children: Joshua Richards and Adam Richards of Dracut, MA, Jack Richards and Liam Richards of Chelmsford, MA, and his daughter, Madison Richards, also of Chelmsford, MA. He also leaves behind his two brothers, Christopher Richards and his wife Tara of Chelmsford, MA, and Sean Richards and his wife Karen of Hampton, NH, as well as his sister Kelley Duchesne and her husband Roger of Lowell, MA.
Brian is also survived by his sisters-in-law Ellen Murphy and her husband Ed of Chelmsford, MA, Michelle Nutter and her husband Ken of Chelmsford, MA and Courtney Lyons and her husband Ned of Towson, MD, and Leigh Richards of Merrimack, NH. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews: Bob and Meghan Duchesne, CJ Richards, Conner Richards, Ryan Richards, Kelsey Richards, Kyleigh Richards, Aidan Richards, Mallory Murphy, Kate Murphy, Kendall Nutter, Lindsay Nutter, Cole Nutter, and Jake Lyons. Brian was also grandfather to Sophia Richards of Dracut, MA.
He was predeceased by his brother Colin Richards who passed away in 2019.
Brian's presence will be deeply missed.

Visiting hours Monday, October 21, 2024 from 4-7PM at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral service Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 10AM at Dolan Funeral Home.
