Brian Thomas Roseboro peacefully departed this life on Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born on June 23, 1976, to the late Johnny Roseboro and Cassandra Cathey Roseboro. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Roseboro; Mother, Cassandra Roseboro; brother, Shawn Roseboro; and Aunt, Pamela Rogers.

Brian was a proud graduate of T. W. Andrews High School in High Pont, NC, class of 1994. During his high school years, he excelled as a multi-sport athlete earning numerous awards for his accomplishments in Track and Field (Shot Put), Wrestling and Football. As a Defensive Tackle (#90) he was honored as the "1994 Athlete of the Year" for the North Carolina High School Athletic Association. His athletic talents earned him a football scholarship to Western North Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. where he pursued his degree in criminal justice.

Brian was very intelligent, kind and soft-spoken. He was affectionately known as a "Gentle Giant". He had a deep love for sports and an even deeper love for good food - fried chicken was his favorite. Above all he loved his family, especially his brother Steven and chosen sister Christal.

He leaves behind, a loving legacy and many cherished memories with those who survive him: grandmother, Ruth Mae Hinton, Greensboro, NC; brother, Steven Roseboro, High Point, NC; his chosen sisters, Christal Cathey and Stephanie Cathey, Greensboro, NC; two special aunts, Etta Brannon, High Point NC, Shirley Price, Washington, DC; great aunts, Sarah Marsh, Maggie Talley, Gwendolyn Hammond, Marylu (Bobbie) Brown, Greensboro, NC; nieces, Mahogany Roseboro, Sidney Roseboro, High Point, NC; great niece, A'yonna Roseboro, High Point, NC; nephews, Christopher Roseboro, Joshua Roseboro, High Point, NC; Anthony Roseboro, Atlanta, GA; and a host of extended family members and friends who will continue to honor his memory. Brian will be remembered for his warm spirit, his strength and the quite-grace with which he lived his life.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
