Brian Fielding Sandlin, 57, of Valdosta, passed away on October 25, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1968, to the late Levon and Billie Sandlin. Growing up in Valdosta, Brian graduated from Lowndes High School in 1987 and went on to get his associate’s degree from Wiregrass Technical College (Val Tech). A member of First Methodist Church of Valdosta, he loved his Lord, his family and his friends. Brian had a great sense of humor, was easy to get along with and he loved sports and listening to music.

Brian is survived by his loving family, Sherry Zipperer & Paul, Suzanne Roberts & Frank, Larry Sandlin & Dana, Jim Fielding & Sandra, Gwen Turner & Mark; as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special friends, The Magnificent 7. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Garry Sandlin.

A memorial service for Brian will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at the McLane River Pavilion at Riverview Memorial Gardens with a visitation taking place 1 hour prior to the service at 10 am. Mr. Josh Turner will officiate. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made in Brian’s memory to South Georgia House of Hope, PO Box 489, Lake Park, GA 31636 or Evans Memorial Group, 1229 North Highway 221, Lakeland, GA 31635.
