December 28, 2016- I had tried to contact Brian here and there over the summer but had not heard back. I did not think much of it as I know we both work incessant hours and have extremely busy lives. Upon trying to reach him over Christmas and not hearing back I found out the devastating news via his Facebook page and a friend of his stating "for those unaware Brian passed away in April." I am devastated and full of regret for the many times we'd speak and say we need to take some time and get together and never did. For those who may read this I am going to share a story about Brian that sums up the type of man he was: I moved to Harrisburg in 2005 along with my girlfriend at the time. We only had one vehicle so she dropped me off in Mechanicsburg and I told her I'd find a ride back after work. While on a break during orientation, I asked if anyone was heading to Harrisburg afterward and if they'd mind dropping me off if I paid them $10. Brian offered and we immediately became fast friends. He would go on to drop me off in Harrisburg every night after work until I was able to get a vehicle of my own. It wasn't until months later that I found out he lived in Mechanicsburg mere minutes away from Amazon but drove me home every night anyway. I'll never forget you Brian I know you're in a better place.
