Brian Keith Sherman, age 42, passed away on May 9, 2025. Born June 14, 1982, to B. Keith and Paula Sherman, Brian grew up in Beaumont, Texas alongside his five siblings. He was a graduate of St. Anne, class of 1996, Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School class of 2000, and Lamar University. Brian spent most of his adult life living in the Houston area and worked as an analyst for Apache Corporation for the last eleven years.
Brian exuded contagious laughter. His smile and his welcoming spirit never met a stranger. Brian lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Whether Bob Marley or a song he felt defined the moment, he constantly shared his love of music. In his off time, Brian loved spoiling and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed relaxing in his back yard, always offering to grill for family and friends. He loved relaxing on the patio and never shied away from a competitive game of darts or chess. His quick wit and friendly sarcasm led all his encounters. He was always willing to help his less tech savvy siblings with all things computer driven. To say he loved animals is an understatement. His dogs, Nesta and June, were family. Brian drew everyone around him with a loving warmth and laughs.
Brian is survived by his mother, Paula Sherman; brother, Chris Sherman and wife, Deborah; sisters, Denise Irmiter and husband, Wayne; Amy Sherman; Beth Pina; and Katie Doubt and husband, Matt; as well as many nieces and nephews, Emily Harding and husband, Cole; Jacob, Zach and Karina Sherman; Izzy and Gabe Pina; and Evie and Maddie Doubt. He was preceded in death by his father, B. Keith Sherman.
A gathering of Brian's family and friends will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2025, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Brian was always polite and kind when passing by the receptionist desk at Apache. I will miss his smile. I'm praying for the family's comfort.
