Brian Joseph Shilensky, 51, of Emmaus, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Gloria M. (Gulden) Shilensky and the late Raymond Carl Shilensky.

Brian lived most of his life in Boyertown and graduated from Boyertown Area Senior High School. He was known as a jokester and for having a great sense of humor. He was an avid baseball player in his youth, playing for the Boyertown Baseball program. Brian loved watching movies and listening to music. He enjoyed working out at the gym and later became a certified personal trainer. He was very handy; he enjoyed building things and was good with concrete. In more recent years he went on to create his own concrete business. The number 23 was Brians favorite number, and he referenced it throughout his life. Brian was a very proud father and enjoyed spending time with his son Brandon, often watching and discussing the Eagles and Phillies together. He will be remembered as a very loyal and dedicated friend that people close to him could rely upon.

Surviving along with his mother Gloria, companion of Jose Garcia, is his son Brandon J. Shilensky; sister Sherri L. Gehringer; aunts and uncles Harold K. Guldin, Michael Gulden, and Linda Brown; aunt Theresa Schlegel; nephews Colin R. Gehringer and Noah R. Gehringer; and his many cousins, especially Dan Moyer, who he grew up with. He is predeceased by his grandparents Joseph and Evelyn Sojtori; grandparents Harold Gulden and Gloria Gulden; and grandparents Raymond J. Shilensky and Chris Shilensky.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00AM at Catagnus Funeral Home (1020 E. Philadelphia Ave, Gilbertsville, PA 19525) with Pastor Robert Ziehmer officiating. Burial will follow at Bechtelsville Union Cemetery. A viewing will also be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 9:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home.
