Brian D. Smithers, age 75, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Haverhill, MA on September 7, 1949, the son of the late Robert and Greta (Ryan) Smithers.
Brian graduated from The Haverhill Trade School as a printer. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy, serving his time on the USS Ticonderoga off the coast of Vietnam during the Vietnam Era. He spent his career working as a computer technician for various companies including Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq Computer Company and Hewlett Packard Company.
Brian loved to go fishing and he loved hunting.
In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Smithers.
Brian is survived by his brothers James and Robert Smithers, Nieces, Amy Fallowfield, Danielle Smithers, Kerry Vargas-Smithers and Nephews, Chad Smithers and Scott Barry.
Services will take place in the summer at the convenience of the family.
