Brian Somers Obituary
Brian Somers, born in 1964 in Harrisville, Michigan, passed away peacefully around midnight on October 17, 2024 at the age of sixty, surrounded by family. Brian was a beloved husband, son, brother, father and grandfather. Brian had a successful career in database technologies and lived in San Jose, California for much of his adult life. Brian retired early to move home to Michigan and pursue his hobbies of woodworking, rock hunting, spending time with friends and family and tinkering in other emerging interests.
Brian is survived by his wife, Lori Somers of Ossineke Michigan, mother Ann McCoy, brother Troy Somers of Lincoln, Michigan, sister Tammy Somers of Gallup, New Mexico, daughter Tempest Evans, grandchildren Kade and Jaclyn Evans of Anchorage, Alaska, in addition to his many beloved friends. He will be remembered for the light and excitement he brought to our world.
A funeral will be held on October 24, 2024 at 1pm in Lincoln Michigan at Gillies Funeral Home.
