Woodruff, SC.
Brian Scott Stankus, 52, of 362 Wedgewood Drive, loving husband of Lynn Harrell Stankus, passed away July 31, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born July 14, 1971, in Darlington, SC., he was a son of John Stankus (Sissy) of Laurens and Donna Gray Stankus of Woodruff. He was employed as Truck Driver and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Woodruff.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are his children, Preston Stankus of Spartanburg, Brandon Stankus, Bethany Stankus, Charley West, Skylar Straub all of Woodruff; siblings, Lori Turner (Robbie) of Woodruff, Shawn Stankus of Fountain Inn, Anna Stankus of Laurens; step-brothers, B.J. Thompson of Charleston, Jason Thompson of Louisiana; grandchildren, Harper Grace West, Hailey Stankus, Gracelynn Stankus, Conner Stankus, Autumn Stankus; special Nieces and nephews; and his adoring pets, Ryder and Hershel Stankus, Miller, Chip and Bootsie Stankus and his close friend Shane Thompson and all of his A Grade above family.
He was predeceased by his best friend Tim Akers.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45p.m. Saturday August 5, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, Woodruff. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church with Rev. Fred Quidley officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Home Christian Recovery, 144 Faith Home Rd, Greenwood, SC 29649.
