Brian taught me so much when I started in the ICU. He recruited me at SHMC. He will always have a special place with me. What a guy.

I worked with Brian my entire ICU career. I agree with the statement he loved to tell stories. I was sad to hear of his passing. I know that he had a deep love for his wife and his children. He spoke very highly of all of them.

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Brian. I worked in that same ICU for 28 years working along side Brian many days for most of those years. He was an excellent nurse and colleague, always willing to help others when needed. Brian was a voracious reader and lent me many many books over the years to read. He lent me the Song of Ice and Fire trilogy to read long before it was remade into Game of Thrones. Brian will be missed, he was one of the "good guys".

I had the joy and honor of working with Brian for a number of years on ICU.. I remember many conversations with him on a number of topics. He was a very compassionate, intelligent, and competent nurse... He was quite the jokester and I helped him initiate and execute a number of pranks. I was saddened to hear about his passing, and my thoughts and prayers are with Brian and his family. May he rest in peace with our Lord Jesus.
