Brian "Uncle B" Timmons was born on May 29, 1968 to David and Eloise (McDaniels) Timmons in Bridgeport, Connecticut. While he was young his parents relocated back to Florence, South Carolina. At an early age Brian accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined the Effingham Baptist Church.
Brian attended and graduated from South Florence High School. While In High School he was a part of the Marching Band. After graduation Brian moved to Paterson, New Jersey. Brian had a great love for cooking and worked various jobs to become an expert at his craft. He once worked at IBM as a cook chef.
Brian joined the Grace Chapel Baptist Church, Paterson, where he participated in various committees; he was a Trustee, served on the Hospitality Ministry and was a member of the Male Chorus.
Unforeseen circumstances led Brian to relocate back to South Carolina for 4 years to take care of his mother. While there he worked as a cook at McLeod Hospital in Florence, SC.
Upon returning to New Jersey Brian was united in marriage to Virginia Gail Carter in September of 2005.
He started his work career again this time at Pulse Medical Transportation as a Driver, he was also employed at Eastern Christian Children Retreat as a Caretaker and Bond Parade Float as a driver and of course at Carrie P. Bragg Funeral Home, where he made special connections.
He was a member of Hiram Lodge #19 and Unity Lodge 1195 International Free and Accepted Modern Masons where he held various positions. Brian's hobbies were having driveway cookouts for his family and friends, working with anything technical and riding his motorcycle whenever possible and fishing trips. His motto was "Live to Ride and Ride to Live".
Before his death Brian said to his wife Virginia, "Why would I fight to stay in a body that's breaking down when I know I have a new body on the other side.
Brian was predeceased by his beloved parents: Eloise (McDaniels) and David Timmons; brother, Wayne Timmons; paternal and maternal grandparents; and Uncle, Otto McDaniels.
Brian leaves to cherish precious memories; his loving and devoted wife, Virginia Carter- Timmons; one daughter, Jawanna Crystal Timmons; two grandsons: Amarii JaWann Stevens and Jaziel Syryus Stevens of Paterson; three brothers: Tyrone (Carol) Timmons and David Timmons both of Connecticut and Frank McDaniels of Cliffside Park, NJ; one sister, Betty Timmons of Effingham, South Carolina; two aunts: Helen McDaniels (Latson) Cockfield and Bettyann Timmons of Florence, South Carolina; three uncles: Dean (Cynthia) Timmons of Naugatuck, Connecticut, Roy Timmons and JC Timmons of Florence, South Carolina; doggie daughter, CeCe Timmons; his special sister, Takiya (Moses) Willis; his special motorcycle Buddy (Son) Grande/ Palmer and his Beloved Bragg Family and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
