Brian Wilson Obituary

On Monday, the 30th of June, 2025, after struggling with medical conditions, Brian Wilson is assured a place in heaven. He passed away peacefully in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where he'd made his home for over 40 years.
Raised in Butler, he worked most of his life in the optometry business. He was a devout Catholic. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1964 to 1968. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, hiker, sport shooter and fisherman.
He is survived by a sister, Bernadine (Robert) Glocker of Hummelstown, Pa. He will also be missed by two nephews, Bob Powers and Eric Wilson; along with a niece, Christina Wilson (Sauer); along with numerous family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Gertrude Wilson; as well as a brother, Wayne Wilson.
WILSON - Visitation for Brian Wilson, who died Monday, June 30, 2025, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport.
A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary, Mother of God Church, 608 High St., Freeport.
Donations may be made in his name to VA Butler Healthcare, 353 N. Duffy Road, Butler PA 16001.
