Brian S. Wysong

65, of Camden, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025.

He was born June 28, 1960, in Oxford, to the late Archie T. and Barbara J. (Miller) Wysong.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Crisp.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Valerie Wysong; children, Angela Ratliff, Regina Fugate, Breanda Pruitt, Michael House, and Kendra Blanton; numerous grandchildren; and siblings, Kenny Wysong and Sheila Theobald.

Brian's generosity and kindness were evident in every aspect of his life. He took great pride in his service as a member of the Camden-Somers Fire and EMS, where he dedicated countless hours to ensuring the safety and well-being of those around him. Additionally, his spirit of volunteerism shone brightly at the Food Pantry, where he brought joy and support to those in need.

In his leisure time, Brian could often be seen walking his faithful dog, Jax, around town. This simple pleasure brought him immense joy and was a reflection of his love for the outdoors and his community. An avid cornhole player, Brian excelled at the game, enjoying friendly competitions with friends and neighbors alike, further demonstrating his spirited nature and love for connection.
