Britney Small

Britney Eliza Small, 14, of Lame Deer made her journey home to the creator on August 1st, 2024. Britney was born to Lavonda Foote and Eli Small on May 30th 2010 at Crow Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency.
Britney attended St. Labre Indian School for a majority of her school years, for a short period of time she attended Lame Deer Public Schools then returning back to St Labre where she recently earned her 8th grade promotion certificate. Britney achieved many academic awards over the years. Britney excelled in all sports she participated in, she enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball, and the 100-yard dash, hurdles, and shot put in track & field.
Britney was so fearless and always had a love for adventure. Britney loved fishing, hunting, gathering plants out in the hills. Britney was also a loved team member of the Northern Cheyenne Bison Mountain Bike Team. Britney had a passion for baking which blossomed into a flourishing business that she made for herself. Britney's love for her friends, family and horses will be long lived.
Britney was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Thomas/Tuck (Beatrice) Small, Otto (Agnes) Brady, grandparents Jimmy Foote, Delores Killsnight, Steven Brady Sr, Barbra Braidedhair, Luke Brady, Theresa Lynn Risingsun, Joseph C. Brady. Uncle RedElk Lonebear and Aunt Alexis Braidedhair and cousins Hanna Harris, Kyrell Whitewolf. Britney is also a descendant of Chief Littlewolf and a chief child of Charles Killsnight.
Britney is survived by her father Eli Small (Salley Leader Charge) and her mother Lavonda (Corey Bixby) Foote. Her brothers Alex Small and Thunder Bixby and step siblings Sheldon Jr and Shelby King, and Colby Bixby. Her grandparents Elizabeth Braided Hair, Theda Foote, Wanda Bixby, Linda Small, Jeanette Small, Dean (Debbie), Theresa Small, Merrill Killsnight Sr., Linda and Lavonda Brady, Otto and Martin Braided Hair, Vernon (Kristina Redbird) Small, Fred (Myrna) Small. Her aunts Kateri Foote (Zac Demaray), Patra SiouxCalf, Desta Siouxcalf (Trevor OldMouse), Cheyenne and Tiffany Small, uncles Dewey Foote, Huey (Jen) Foote and Kagan Siouxcalf, Blaine Small (Leslie) Small, Willy and Gordy Highbull. Special cousins Merle StandingElk, Naomi Todd, Charmayne Bearclaw, Shotaya, Kaylie and JD Little Soldier, Bailey Not Afraid, Aspen Woods, Tanner Notafraid, Rylin, Railyn and Hazyn Small, Blaine Shotgun, Chauncey (MaryJo HisBadHorse) Foote.
