Brittany Barbera Obituary
Brittany had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is now in his presence, totally healed. She was a graduate of Juniata College and Liberty High School, a singer/songwriter, author, and potter. Brittany enjoyed relaxing in her hammock, taking long walks, and spending time with family and friends. She also loved the beach, especially basking in the sun. Originally from Bethlehem, Brittany spent the past 14 years in Nashville, Tennessee. She had the heart of a servant, giving of her time, talents, and treasures to those in need.
Brittany is survived by her parents, David and Debra (Smith) Barbera; siblings, Lindsay VanBilliard and her husband Mark, Brandy Barbera and Spenser Barbera; nieces and nephew, Sarah, Josh and Audrey VanBilliard; grandmother, Barbara Smith; aunt and uncle, Sandra Kuhns and Anthony "Sonny" Barbera and his wife Patricia; great-aunt, Carol Lowe and her husband Jack and their daughter Jackie Cherry and her family. Brittany is predeceased by grandparents, Oliver "Bud" Smith, Florence "Cookie" Cortazzo; uncle, Rodney Kuhns and cousin, Rachel Kuhns.
Services will be held on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 11am in Calvary Baptist Church, 5300 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA. Calling hours will be from 9am to 11am followed by interment in Bethlehem Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton. Offer online condolences at www.strunkfh.com.

Brittany was like our third daughter. She went to Juniata with our two daughters, Gretchen and Lisa. Words cannot express the sadness with the loss of our Angel Brittany. We will always remember her with Angel wings and still enjoying all the love and talents she shared with so many people. Our deepest prayers to all her family and friends. We must not forget her heart and love went out to everyone. God Rest your sweet soul, Brittany.

Brittany has been my roomate for 7 going on 8 years. She was more than just a roommate , she was family. She also wore many "hats" such as therapist, pastor, prankster, writer, singer, potter and more. I´m so thankful I met her in the fall of 2017, I was the photographer for her album "Shadow Days". Fast forward to fall of 2024 when I took her photos for her newest book "Comfort & Joy." I had no idea that God had plans for us to be housemates let alone such a huge part of my life and Nashville family. We also experienced the pandemic together which resulted in us forming life long friendships with neighbors in our community- all kinds of shenanigans, cookouts, stake-outs, badminton games, adult Easter egg hunts, neighborhood walks, hammock social hour, Christmas obstacle courses, learning the Thriller dance and beyond. Ultimately besides her iconic laugh and zest for life, her light for the Lord and walking alongside others shined so bright. She wanted everyone to know Him! My condolences to Brittney's family. Brittany was always wanting to help others. She helped our family out, in many ways when we were going through some very difficult times. We got to know her better, during the Sunday night Thread services at Calvary Baptist.
