Brittany Lynn Lee tragically passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the young age of 22.
Brittany, who would later be affectionately named "Pretty Britt", was born to parents Bryant and Jaime Lee on January 28, 2002, in Columbus, Ohio. Brittany was such a happy, beautiful, round face baby. Her dimples, perfectly mirroring her mother's, were so deep that they didn't just compliment her face; they gave her a distinctive look that she couldn't hide regardless of her mood. Along with her mother and father, Brittany is also survived by her brother, Bryan Lee, her grandparents, James Alexander and Debra Warino, aunts, Janiece (Henry) Bryant, Sadie Lee, Janis (Mark) Woodfork, and Jennifer Warino. Brittany will be greatly missed by her cousins, Halei, Harmoni, Heaven, Tarrell, Tyron, Tamika, Tarrance, Toriana, Jasmyn, James, Janaya, Jaelyn, Jacolby, AnaMarie, Ayden and her extended family, Quovana, Ronnie, Jaquon "Quizzy", Chavon, Lavon and Travon, whom she had a close and special bond with.
While Brittany was attending Leawood Elementary School, Jaime and Bryant decided to move their small family to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they both originally grew up.
Here is where Brittany would grow into the smart, funny, ambitious, generous, friendly, and slightly quirky young lady that we all adored. Brittany continued elementary school at Elm Creative Arts. Brittany's bright personality and obvious leadership skills would be demonstrated as she entered Lincoln Center of the Arts Middle School. Brittany developed an immense love for learning. She loved to read and was an all-around excellent student. As captain of the middle school's organization, Brother2Sister, she was an inspiration, a mentor and confidant to many of her fellow classmates.
In 2016, Brittany was accepted to Carmen High School of Science and Technology. During her short four years at Carmen, Brittany excelled as a student, earning the respect of her peers and teachers alike. Brittany's genuine kindness allowed her to build lasting relationships outside of the classroom. Her dedication, commitment and passion earned her acceptance to University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and University of Sioux Falls. Brittany's love for championing, supporting and empowering others made her decision to become a Human Resource professional, an easy one.
Earlier this year, Brittany accepted a job offer with DMS Health Technologies in Sioux Falls, SD. In true fearless Brittany fashion, she moved 500 miles away from what was familiar to her. She was excited about her growth and independence.
On December 14, 2024, at approximately 4:38 PM, a sudden, tragic car accident ended Brittany's journey, leaving her family and friends struggling with a shocking, unbearable loss. Though Brittany's time on this side of the sun was short, her brightness, the love she shared and the joy she brought to those around her will last always and forever.
Brittany will be welcomed to heaven by her grandmother, Carroll Lee, grandfather, Melvin Limmitt and uncles, Adam Alexander, Dayonne Washington, Jessie Lee and Tycer Lee.
Fly high Pretty Britt, your spirit will forever inspire us, and your love will always be with us.
Visitation to be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 5101 West Center Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:30 AM.

I was thinking about Brittany today. As time goes on I know her spirit will visit where she´s needed. I went through my diary one of the many we got from Justice. Any every page was about you. After 3 years of friend ship I wrote "My friend Brittany will always be the bestest friend I ever had." I felt this all over again after finding out the news so I know it´s true. We never got to say goodbye. I didn´t even know our last conversation would be our very last conversation. 8 years later I would do things so differently. I miss you. Everyday it gets harder to accept just how much the world is missing out on with you. How much I missed out on with you. Our friendship, even the faint memories of it heal(ed) me. Hearing everyone stories about you reminded me you were exactly who I knew you were. That´s why we were best friends. Your brother was right you are the very best there ever was. You could turn trash into treasure. I hope that one day we cross paths again. In another life or heaven I just hope the reunion is every bit of sweet.

My granddaugher Brittany was so smart and had a spirit that didn't let much of anything bother her. she reminded me of myself a little. My mom use to say the world could be fallen down around me and I did'nt let it get me too excited. it is more important to show love and compassion and that's just what Brittany did.
I love and will miss you Britt. Hug your uncle AJ real tight for me.
